How a Cincinnati Medical Office Turned Their Lobby Into a Presentation Space

Most waiting rooms sit empty between patients. One of our recent clients decided to put that space to work.

A local Cincinnati medical practice came to CoreLink Solutions Pro with a simple idea: they wanted to use their lobby for staff presentations, patient education, and small group meetings — without building a dedicated conference room.

Here's what we installed and how it came together.

The Setup

The lobby was a large, open waiting area with plenty of ceiling height and wall space — perfect for a projection system. We installed:

  • Motorized projection screen — drops down when needed, retracts completely out of sight when not in use
  • Ceiling-mounted projector — positioned for full screen coverage with no obstruction
  • In-ceiling speakers — clean, hidden audio that fills the room evenly

When the system isn't in use, the lobby looks exactly like it always did. When it's time for a presentation, one button brings everything down and ready in seconds.

Why This Works for Multi-Purpose Spaces

Not every business needs a dedicated conference room. If you have a lobby, break room, or open area that sits unused for parts of the day, a motorized screen and projector system can turn it into a functional presentation space without a major renovation.

The key is keeping it simple and discreet — equipment that disappears when you don't need it.
